Directions
This chicken breast and liver rice meal is high in both carbs and protein. A tasty and different meal from Arabic origins. A pre-workout meal that charges your body before a long run.

#1. preparationslice both chicken breasts and chicken livers in two separate bowls. add to both: cinnamon, ginger, white vinegar, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10 min. |

#2. Let's cook itHeat a non-stick pot , add the chopped onion and chicken livers in the oil, stir for 5 min then add the chicken breast pieces stir for another 5 min. Add the turmeric powder then add 3 cups of water and boil it all together for 10 min. |

Finish itIn the same pot, add the rice, stir a little. make sure that the water is boiling and that it covers all the ingredients. cover the pot and observe. when the water is almost not seen stir the pot one last time and turn the heat down to a low temperature till fully cooked. Serve hot with grilled veggies. |

Optional stepbefore step #3 you can add half a can of cooked red beans after rinsing it well with water in a sieve. adding the beans add nutrition value to the meal. |
